If you can't beat 'em, wear 'em. Even if you can beat 'em, wear 'em. Most of us have been taught to despise this beautiful creation, but there was a time when the lowly dandelion saved lives. My Mom remembers some of her neighbors gathering dandelion leaves for dinner because they had nothing else to eat. That doesn't sound too appealing but every part of the dandelion is edible – leaves, roots, stems, and flowers. And the plants are nutritional powerhouses. The greens are rich in beta-carotene, fiber, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, B vitamins, and protein. Read more about this wondrous creation here.

We placed a gorgeous Sitka grown dandelion flower on the front of the right leg and a dandelion puff on the back of the left leg. So whether you're coming or going, your friends will notice you and your leggings. Beautiful!
